Security and migration are topics surrounded by various myths and misinformation. At the same time, they represent topics which in many countries have already significantly influenced the results of national elections. In this regard, Morocco is a fascinating country full of contrasts. On the one hand it attracts thousands of refugees and migrants, mainly from Sub-Saharan Africa. On the other, many Moroccans leave the country to settle down in Europe.
The Morocco-Spain migration route is slowly becoming the main route used for illegal migration to Europe, meanwhile Morocco has adopted one of the strictest anti-terrorist policies in the region.
